Why everybody says India has rich culture?
It is because of our people...and their principles.. We should observe these from our Heros.
Why do we read all those crap books on Personality Development???
Are we not matured enough to understand what is good and what is bad??
Reason is simple... Majority of PD books are written for Corporate life; that is where we want to excel right???...
Though these does n't suit "our" life... we don't care... because we are no longer living for a purpose...

Fit of anger and temporary lunacy is not rare. It is a natural way of created beings. Therefore the Dharmashastra of Hindus have carefully laid down the code of conduct so as to transform the “human herd” into a “civilised human society” – The Maanava Samaaja. The great LakshamaNa, the brother of Lord Rama too was not an exception. He too had expressed similar feelings when Rama was exiled for fourteen years: I repeat the beautiful words of Sage valmiki below: “And the lord Rama said:,
at enaam visR^ija anaaryaam kSatra dharmaashritaam matim |
dharmamaashraya maa taikSNyam mad buddhiranugamyataam ||

yad acintyam tu tat daivam bhuuteSv api na hanyate |

sukha duhkhe bhaya krodhau laabhaalaabhau bhavaabhavau |

The influence of destiny is unimaginable. No living being can counteract its influence. An adverse fate has befallen on me and on her (his step mother-kaikeyii). It is clear now.
Oh, LakshmaNa! There is no means whatsoever to abstain from it otherwise than to follow the course of destiny. Who will be able to fight against the destiny.?”
Pleasure and pain, fear and anger, gain and loss, birth and death and such other things are all the acts of destiny
It is indeed an act of destiny, which suddenly and unimaginably obstructs an action, undertaken in the world, at the starting point itself.
Oh, Lakshmana! Do not repent about this perverseness of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. When you talk of kingdom or dwelling in the forest, this is the final beatitude.”]*
What is the percept?
It is not necessary that the best and the most meritorious get best of the things in the world. The Goddess of fortune is capricious and fickle minded. Even the Lord Rama born in the Royal Family with best of intellectual prowess, highest of merit and invincible at war had to wear rags and go into exile for fourteen years. However, do not leave the path of goodness because of such temporary state that you are in because ultimately the good always wins over evil.
Applicability in our life: Every time you think: “Oh! My boss (or my brother or colleague or friend) is so less in merit compared to me but is enjoying better comforts, luxuries, fame and fortune” remember the above words of Rama and the frustration will vanish from your mind. This is why the scriptures say that on a Rama-navami day you should listen to Ramayana. It brings prosperity – listen to it in a language you understand – mere playing of CD in Sanskrit does not serve the purpose or intent.
